New releases for July 1

Slim pickings this week for new releases.
Thriller fans can grab the latest from Brad Thor. In "The Last Patriot," the author of “The First Commandment” returns with his seventh book featuring Homeland Security operative Scot Harvath, who, in this installment, must uncover a powerful secret that could finally put an end to militant Islam.
If you are not a fan of thrillers but enjoy a Harry Potter-type romp, check out "Pillage" by Obert Skye. The author branches out from the Leven Thumps series with a book about a teenage boy who goes to live with a wealthy uncle and uncovers a mysterious old book with references to dragons.
Guess which one I'll be reading?
In addition to "The Last Patriot" and "Pillage," here are a few other new releases:
  “Chasing Darkness” by Robert Crais
“A Few Seconds of Panic: A 5-foot, 8-inch, 170-lb, 43-year-old Sportswriter Plays Football with the Pros” by Stefan Fatsis
“Rome 1960: The Olympics that Changed the World” by David Maraniss
