Romance writers on the road

Suzanne Enoch, author of “After the Kiss,” and Teresa Medeiros, who penned “Some Like It Wicked,” are coming to town for a reading in August.
Enoch’s “Kiss” is a historical romance featuring notorious gentleman Sullivan Waring who is a respected horse breeder and a thief. One night, in the middle of a robbery, Sullivan is discovered by Lady Isabel Chalsey, who finds herself trembling from more than fear.
Medeiros’ “Some Like It Wicked” follows Catriona Kincaid, who is determined to return to Scotland to restore her Highland clan’s honor with the help of errant knight Sir Simon Wescott. Danger and passion await the pair in Catriona's homeland as they try to defeat her enemies.
The authors will speak at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 at Clark County Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road. A book signing and reception will follow the program. The event is free.
