Man arrested in 1985 Los Angeles bar slaying

Las Vegas police have arrested a man wanted for a 1985 slaying at a Los Angeles bar.

Gerardo Garibay, 43, was arrested Thursday without incident by detectives and federal agents, according to police.

After the slaying 23 years ago, Garibay fled to Mexico, then moved to Florida and California before coming back to Las Vegas.

He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on one count of murder.
