Neff — A must-read DNC blog for Nevadans
There's nothing like a good blogger to give you the up-to-the-minute color that can sometimes be missed in the "big story" of a nightly newscast or the morning newspaper. And, it only gets better when that blogger has a local focus and insight. So, for Nevadans I direct your attention to Erin Neff, one of the several bloggers for the Las Vegas Review-Journal at the Democratic National Convention. Her blog "Conventional Wisdom" is shaping up to be an absolute must read for Nevada political junkies.
You can find her at: http://www.lvrj.com/blogs/specialsession/
Here's her latest entry: Congresswoman Shelley Berkley was her typical perky self this morning as she arrived for breakfast bearing gifts of tote bags, personalized Obama buttons and her signature poker chips. But she didn't feel like working the room, choosing instead to grab a much needed cup of coffee and some breakfast. She sat down to french toast with blueberry syrup, fruit and a very crispy piece of bacon. "I'm going to an AIPAC breakfast after this," the ardent supporter of Israel said. "It's a safe bet there won't be any bacon there."
That's good stuff. The blog, I mean. Not the bacon.
