Slaying of man in NLV investigated

North Las Vegas detectives are investigating the slaying of a 24-year-old Las Vegas man outside the Fort Cheyenne Casino early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the casino at 2428 Cheyenne Avenue, near City Center Drive, with reports of gunshots.

Upon arriving police learned casino security guards had heard gun fire in the parking lot and soon discovered the man with a fatal gunshot wound.

Police released few other details. The man's name was not released.

Anyone with information regarding this shooting should call the police department at 633-9111 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
