Three days to a million iPhones

Apple sold its millionth 3G iPhone Sunday. Wow. It took them 74 days to reach the million mark with the first generation a little over a year ago. Reports of software activation bugs didn't deter the "gotta-have-it" crowd. The App Store was more than a little busy, as more than 10 million application have already been dowloaded.

More than half the apps are free, with the majority of the paid ones selling for $10 or less.

My son Ben has his name on a waiting list through an AT&T store. He should have his phone in a week, or so. I decided to hold off a while. Not sure how long... You'll know when I get one, believe me.
