Decomposed body found in ditch
The decomposed body of a man who had been shot in the head was found by police Monday morning in a drainage ditch near Washington Avenue and Lamb Boulevard.
Metropolitan Police Department homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said the man's body had probably been in the ditch for a few days. The body was decomposed so badly police couldn't determine the man's race.
