INTERNET ONLY: Clark boys volleyball team edges Spring Valley

Vitto Beltran and Carlo DeSantis each had 10 kills to lead Clark's boys volleyball team to a 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 15-13 win over visiting Spring Valley on Wednesday.

Ronnie Corcuera added 27 assists and Kris Wall had four kills, six aces and two blocks for the Chargers.

Spring Valley's Chance Comrie had 24 assists and six kills, and Thomas Ricca had 13 kills.

• Sierra Vista 3, Bonanza 1 -- At Sierra Vista, Joe White had 21 kills and four blocks to lead the Lions over the Bengals, 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 29-27.

Zach Waldron added 47 assists and Kohl Homeyer had 12 blocks and two aces for Sierra Vista.

Jesse Mackay led Bonanza with 39 assists, and Dallin Hyer added 16 kills and 11 blocks for the Bengals.

• Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 -- At Arbor View, Preston Simper had 13 kills and eight blocks and Tyler Marshall supplied seven kills and nine blocks as the Mustangs beat the Aggies, 25-18, 27-25, 25-23.

Jake Shea added 12 kills for Shadow Ridge.

Arbor View's Nathan Stuart had eight kills and six blocks.

• Las Vegas 3, Chaparral 0 -- At Las Vegas, Danny Farias had 33 assists, 16 digs and five aces to help the Wildcats beat the Cowboys, 25-17, 25-12, 25-17.

Braden Wilson had 10 digs, four kills and three aces and Aaron Hansen added 14 kills and six digs for Las Vegas.

Carlos Chandia had 16 assists for Chaparral.

• Canyon Springs 3, Eldorado 0 -- At Eldorado, Kapahu Kahalepo had 15 kills to lead the Pioneers to a 25-14, 25-8, 25-10 win over the Sundevils.

Nate Lewis had seven kills and six digs for Canyon Springs, and J.T. Washington added three aces and three blocks.

• Durango 3, Western 1 -- At Durango, Darren Torrie had 23 assists and six aces to help the Trailblazers down the Warriors, 14-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Mark Brautigam added 10 kills for Durango, and Velmin Husic had three kills and three blocks.

• Desert Pines 3, Valley 1 -- At Desert Pines, Jose De La Cruz had 35 assists in the Jaguars' 25-13, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20 win over the Vikings.

Paul Burns had 20 kills for Desert Pines, Albert Villanueva added 10 kills and 10 blocks, and Charlie Smith had nine kills and 12 blocks.

Valley's Alonzo Blount had 15 kills and two blocks, David Michaels added 12 kills and three blocks, and Jimmy Videaux had 29 assists and four aces.

• Palo Verde 3, Bishop Gorman 0 -- At Gorman, Adam Nieman had 14 assists in the Panthers' 25-15, 25-11, 25-20 win over the Gaels.

Jordan Batton added seven kills and Tyler Capko six kills for Palo Verde.

Cameron Tom had 11 assists for Gorman, and Kamana Kaimikaua added eight kills and five aces.
