CLARIFICATIONS

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints discontinued polygamy in 1890. Jane Ann Morrison's column Monday saying the Mormon Church "discouraged" polygamy beginning in 1890 was not completely accurate.

A story in Sunday's Review-Journal on the "right turn" flight path mischaracterized a comment by FAA spokesman Ian Gregor. Though Gregor said flight delays are up nationally, he later said that they are down at McCarran International Airport.

Also, Gregor says that up to 36 percent more takeoffs occur hourly during peak times than before the right turn was restored and that by alternating right and left turns, planes can depart at a faster rate.
