Woman, 79, hit by Harley dies

A 79-year-old woman died Tuesday after being struck by a motorcycle the night before.

Rosita Storey of Las Vegas was crossing Charleston Boulevard in a crosswalk, 151 feet east of 17th Street, at 5:38 p.m. Monday when she was struck, according to Las Vegas police.

Brandon Dover, 38, of Las Vegas, was driving a 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he failed to yield to the pedestrian and struck her, police said. Storey was taken to University Medical Center, where she died.

The accident remained under investigation, police said.
