FBI arrests suspect in sex assaults

Authorities have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with armed Sunday night attacks on women in the parking lot of Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center.

Roy Trost was taken into custody on Friday by FBI agents in Venice Beach, Calif., Las Vegas police said. Witnesses told police they saw a man hanging around the parking lot before the attacks occurred.

Trost is charged with two counts of sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon. He's also charged with one count of sexual assault on a victim under the age of 16.

The attacks occurred about midnight Sunday outside the hospital.
