CORRECTION

A story in Tuesday's Review-Journal misstated the parties that must send plans to the Environmental Protection Agency for covering Sunrise landfill. Only Republic Services of Southern Nevada has been ordered to send the plans to the EPA. Also, a photo caption contained an error. The landfill contained about 25 million tons of refuse, a portion of which was released following a 100-year-storm in 1998.
