51s pitchers key 10-inning win

Four Las Vegas pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout, leading the 51s to a 3-0 win in 10 innings over the Round Rock Express on Sunday in Round Rock, Texas.

Starter Justin Orenduff threw seven innings of one-hit ball, allowing two walks and striking out eight for the 51s (16-14 Pacific Coast League). Yhency Brazoban, Greg Miller and Mike Koplove then combined for three more innings of scoreless pitching, with Miller (1-2) getting the win when Las Vegas broke through in the top of the 10th.

The 51s had the bases loaded with two outs when Angel Chavez delivered a three-run double. Koplove then got a strikeout, a groundout and a popout to end the game.

Round Rock (10-19) had four pitchers allow just five hits.
