SHOOTING VICTIM

62-year-old man found dead in Cadillac SUV

A man was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in his car Wednesday afternoon after being reported missing the day before.

The man was identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Heinz Jurgen Wietfeldt, 62, of Las Vegas.

About 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a call that a vehicle had been parked near Southern Highlands Parkway and Shinnecock Hills Avenue for a few days.

Upon arrival, police found Wietfeldt's body in his locked white Cadillac Escalade with his hands and feet bound. A window of the car was broken.

VEHICLE ON SHOULDER

Two victims of I-15 crash are identified

The man and woman killed in a March 13 incident on Interstate 15 have been identified as Kevin Edward Hills, 38, and Lisa Lynne Prock, 41, according to the Clark County coroner's office.

Hills and Prock were northbound on I-15 when they pulled over on the right shoulder, authorities said.

Officials believe Hills was changing a tire on the pickup they were driving and Prock was waiving her arms to warn passing vehicles, when a semitrailer left the roadway and struck them.

Hills was from Portland, Ore., and Prock was from Irvine, Calif, the coroner said.
