Williams, Russert to moderate Democratic debate

A Democratic presidential debate being held in Las Vegas later this month will be moderated by NBC's Brian Williams, accompanied by the network's Tim Russert, according to the network that will be broadcasting the debate, MSNBC.

The debate personnel were announced in a promotional spot on the network Thursday.

Nevadans can submit questions online for the debate at www.januarydebate.com.

There's no guarantee your question will be used, but the debate producers will use the queries to get ideas.

The debate, sponsored by local and national black and Hispanic groups and the College of Southern Nevada, is scheduled to be broadcast live on MSNBC at 6 p.m. on Jan. 15, the Tuesday before Nevada's presidential caucuses.

The debate is scheduled to be held at the Cashman Center.
