Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $36,000, Claiming $32,000, 4-year-olds and up
Oceanus - This will be the first live SoCal mount for female jockey Chantal Sutherland; she'll offer big odds in here.
Political Maneuver - Speedball may be able to steal off and control the pace throughout; dangerous foe on the drop down.
Long Shot - Behind the Screen
Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $24,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
El Falcon - Gets big time class relief off a miserable try in MSW company; has only one way to go, up, facing a slow group.
Cadeaux du Monde - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; should offer good value in here.
Long Shot - Beyond Boundries
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds
Warren's Secret - Mitchell drops precipitously down in second start off the claim; adds blinkers on and keeps Michael Baze.
Asteri - Tepid chalk as he returns to his preferred low class level; he is a good trier and earns a lot of paychecks.
Long Shot - Warren's Ruler
Race 4 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Be Glorius - Frankel charge looked green early and very eager to finish late in her debut; subtle improvement can win it.
Wickednwackyingrid - Speedball has a big edge with the turf rail out 24 feet and possible none others to challenge her.
Long Shot - Sweet Lemonade
Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $26,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds
Black Mallou - Was DQ'd in last so he maintains this same race condition; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip for Bejarano.
De Car Guy - Didn't show the late energy needed in the stretch last time; suspect he's better than that and offers value.
Long Shot - Lucky Honey
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Tizzy's Tune - Like the turn back in distance from 2-turn races to this elongated sprint; should be powering in the lane.
Intangaroo - Overlooked filly will offer lots of value with a low percentage trainer and jockey; another who will fire late.
Long Shot - Run Right Thru
Race 7 - 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $57,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
Sir Lowry - Was flattered when both Monterey Jazz and Kalgoorlie won next time out; big rider switch to Bejarano.
James The Third - At first glance may appear overmatched; Gomez stays loyal to the cause and he's improved for Becerra.
Long Shot - Liver
Race 8 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds
Nikki'sgoldensteed - Tried to overcome a poor start last time out, and could not; Smith takes over for the money shot.
One Chin Again - Second in debut, interesting to see Gomez taking over in second career start; expect some improvement.
Long Shot - Mr. Elroy
Best Bet - Warren's Secret (race 3)
