C2 Lofts brings urban living concept to Summerlin

C2 Lofts in Summerlin recently conducted four promotional events during a two-week period and drew a lot of attention from prospective home buyers, according to Erika Geiser, vice president of marketing for the development.

"The uniqueness and value potential of C2 Lofts in Summerlin is immediately apparent to the most discerning of buyers," she said. "The rate of sales we are experiencing in this market attests to the fact that we are offering a rare opportunity here -- a chance to be among the first to be part of the most innovative concept in urban living ever introduced to Las Vegas."

Located in Summerlin Centre, off West Charleston Boulevard, just west of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, C2 Lofts offers more than a dozen one-, two- and three-story loft designs, ranging from about 900 to 3,300 square feet and priced from the mid-$300,000s to more than $1 million. Many will offer mountain or city light views.

All residents will have assigned parking spaces, as well as storage space inside a gated subterranean parking area.

C2 Lofts is just a few blocks from the Red Rock Casino Resort Spa. Also within a short distance are shopping centers and restaurants. Red Rock National Conservation Area is a few miles away.

"C2 Lofts in Summerlin offers an opportunity to own a luxurious loft within a planned 36-acre, 'live, work and play' environment that is superior to anything else being developed in Las Vegas," Geiser said. "As one example, C2 Lofts in Summerlin is directly adjacent to the developing Summerlin Centre Mall, which will feature 1.2 million square feet of upscale retail stores such as Nordstrom and Crate & Barrel, along with a variety of boutique shops and casual and fine dining establishments."

Geiser said loft owners will enjoy a relaxed lifestyle where everything they need on a regular basis will be nearby.

"Our loft owners will be able to walk downstairs and browse through upscale retail shops; enjoy a cup of coffee; pick up the dry cleaning; or meet a friend or neighbor for lunch," she said. "Each of the loft buildings will also feature a roof garden, which will provide opportunities for relaxing and socializing with neighbors. The roof gardens will offer scenic views of the Las Vegas city lights and they will variously feature such luxurious appointments as fire pits, fireplaces and wet bars."

Geiser said a planned three-story lifestyle center at C2 Lofts will provide a heated pool, spa, workout facility, salon, massage rooms, treatment rooms, steam room, aerobics room, jogging track, media rooms, game room, wine bar, juice bar, catering kitchen and concierge services. Plans for the development also call for a dog park.

"Anyone seeking the uniqueness associated with loft living should visit C2 Lofts in Summerlin before choosing any other loft, mid-rise or high-rise development in the valley," Geiser said. "Here, you will find true loft living."

Geiser said the first building at C2 Lofts is now substantially sold out, with most of the owners already moved in. She said incentives, including interest rate buy-downs, are being offered on the final few lofts in the building. Refundable reservation and unit-specific deposits are now being accepted for lofts in the second building, where sales are expected to begin this year, she said.

C2 Lofts recently began presales in the second and third phases of the project. The second phase will offer an intimate setting of only 18 to 24 lofts per building. Priced from the lower $300,000s, the lofts will range from 937 to 2,231 square feet and offer up to three bedrooms.

The third phase will feature 36 penthouse and flat designs per building, many of them live/work lofts, where the owners will be able to operate upscale retail or professional businesses on the lower level. Select penthouse designs will also include private roof gardens or courtyards.

Priced from the $600,000s to more than $1 million, the lofts will measure from 1,360 to 3,345 square feet with up to four bedrooms.

The first completed building at C2 Lofts offers an open-air courtyard with a water feature and bamboo garden. For gatherings, residents have use of a furnished roof garden with a fire pit, fireplace, wet bar and panoramic views of the Las Vegas skyline.

Buyers at C2 Lofts have opportunities to customize their residence aided by a C2 Lofts Design Center professional.

C2 Lofts is a Christopher Company run by the same professionals who oversee operations for Christopher Homes.

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to the West Charleston Boulevard exit and go west about a half-mile. Turn left and follow the signs to the sales center models.
