Lennar homes offer three-car garages

The homes at Lennar's Canyon Springs neighborhood, located in North Las Vegas, include three-car garages.

Home measure 1,905 to 3,128 square feet, and are priced from the $300,000s.

"We offer more square footage for the price, particularly when you consider Lennar's outstanding no-extra, cost-included amenities," sales agent Greg Kozlowicz said.

Canyon Springs, located at North 5th Street and Alexander Road, features two single-story floor plans: the La Jolla with 1,905 square feet and the Laguna with 2,201 square feet.

Two two-story, single-family homes are also available: the Santa Clara with 2,714 square feet and the Beverly Hills with 3,135 square feet.

"Home buyers right now are price-sensitive," sales agent Linda Coleman said.

"They want more for their money. They are looking for larger floor plans that, in some cases, can accommodate multi-generational families. Canyon Springs meets those needs.

"Even our single-story homes feature four separated bedrooms that afford additional privacy for family members."

Canyon Springs home prices include all stainless-steel kitchen appliances, upgraded oak cabinetry, granite countertops, full window coverings throughout, as well as a new washer and dryer.

"Over and above the affordable prices, Canyon Springs offers a great location," Kozlowicz said.

"The Craig Road shopping corridor is close by and growing. Construction begins shortly on Desert Star, the mammoth new 1.2 million square-foot retail center at North 5th Street and Craig Road.

It's scheduled to open in 2009, and will take shopping to an entirely new level."

Kozlowicz also said local market conditions for buying a new are good.

"It's a good time to make the decision to purchase a new home. Loan rates are still an incredible bargain today, and actually quite low by historic comparison," he said.

Design highlights of the single-story homes include a front courtyard, split-garages, covered porch entry and a tech center in the La Jolla floor plan.

Also included are formal living and dining rooms and a great room/kitchen in the Laguna model.

The Santa Clara includes 2,714 square feet, four bedrooms and 21/2 baths. The home has a formal living room and separate dining room.

The main-floor great-room family room is open to the kitchen and breakfast nook. The kitchen features an island with bar-counter seating, extensive counter space, a walk-in pantry and a bay window pop-out.

The two-story Beverly Hills design features 3,128 square feet, with five bedrooms plus a game loft, main-floor family room and three baths.
