Lennar’s Live Chat service aids buyers

When Wendy Marsh's company offered her a chance to move from Crown Point, Ind., to Las Vegas, she decided the time was right. With her background providing information technologies to the hospitality industry, Marsh decided to try her luck in the entertainment capital of the world.

But first, she needed to do a bit of research. Her first step was a visit to Las Vegas via the Internet. She went to Lennar.com and met Live Chat consultants Jamiel Rashdan and Dawn Anderson. Over the next few months, they explored neighborhoods in a virtual Live Chat world that introduced Marsh to more than 35 Lennar neighborhoods throughout Las Vegas.

"We did virtual model home tours and chatted about locations and driving distance, and what features were important for my lifestyle," Marsh said. "Jamiel even went out to a number of the communities and took extra photos for me of specific model home floor plans that we thought might be right for me."

When Marsh arrived in Las Vegas, Rashdan was ready for her with an itinerary of neighborhoods she wanted to see.

"Our tour brought us to Diamond Creek at Mountain's Edge, and it was perfect," Marsh said. "Somehow when you walk into your perfect house, you just feel it. You just know. I walked into the Baguette model at Diamond Creek and that was it, home."

To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Blue Diamond Road, turn west to Buffalo Drive, south on Buffalo to Richmar Avenue, then west on Richmar to the models.

The Welcome Home Center is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when it closes at 3 p.m. For information about Diamond Creek, call 260-0804. For information on other Lennar neighborhoods, visit lennar.com.
