Authorities identify crash victim

The 51-year-old motorcyclist who died Wednesday afternoon after he was struck by a vehicle on Rainbow Boulevard near Sahara Avenue has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Kirk Geiger of Las Vegas.

Geiger was heading southbound in the far left lane of Rainbow about 12:25 p.m. on a 2004 Harley-Davidson when a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by 37-year-old Norma Gonzalez struck him, Las Vegas police said.

Gonzalez had driven her vehicle out of a driveway and across all three lanes of southbound Rainbow in an attempt to maneuver into the left-turn lane.
