Traffic closure set at Hoover Dam

Motorists traveling Monday night between Arizona and Las Vegas on U.S. Highway 93 will be faced with a detour.

U.S. 93 will be closed at Hoover Dam from 7 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday for work associated with construction of the new bypass bridge.

Arizona transportation officials said northbound U.S. 93 traffic will be diverted in Kingman to Bullhead City from 5 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday. Motorists then can take Nevada Route 163 to U.S. Highway 95 to reach Las Vegas.
