Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $54,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Perfect Casting - Top trainer Clement is off to a slow start in SoCal; suspect once he wins one, all heck will break loose.
Talkin to Mom Roo - Sprinter stretching out figures to have an easy time getting to the lead; no shock if he gets brave.
Long Shot - Minister Blair
Race 2 - 6 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Divine Legacy - Exits a bullet workout for Currin who hires a big name rider in Bejarano; watch the tote board for clues.
Madame Striker - Another FTS, this one from Kathy Walsh; she hires Gomez who can pick and choose his mounts, must be live.
Long Shot - Masterful Miss
Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $26,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Gold Trim - Tepid chalk was claimed by Hollendorfer off a gritty win; has enough back class where a repeat race is likely.
Moonlit Habit - Speedball draws the perfect post to launch his attack; Pedroza will leave fast and nurse him around.
Long Shot - Prince of Gold
Race 4 - 7 1/2 furlongs, $100,000 On Trust Handicap, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Greg's Gold - Definitely loves the synthetic tracks in SoCal; this is one of the softest fields he's faced in some time.
El Don - Beaten favorite makes his return off a 8-month sabbatical; turn back in distance will serve to his advantage.
Long Shot - Big Bad Leroybrown
Race 5 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $44,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Chevin - Just missed in last, now Gomez exiting others to ride back for Drysdale; sits a trip and makes one big brush.
Chop House George - Offers value at 6/1 odds in this turf route; Talamo just switched agents despite solid strike rate.
Long Shot - Rhetorically
Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $45,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Wild Diplomat - Did everything but win in last, now turning back slightly in distance; recent gelding has really improved.
Blackfoot Trail - Leparoux is off to a slow start, but it's more the barns he's riding for; once they heat up, so will he.
Long Shot - Cayambe
Race 7 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
Sangaree - Kin to Congaree ran really well in his career debut; was flattered when El Gato Malo won the next time out.
Zetterberg - Will appreciate the turn back to a 1-turn sprint; Dollase adding blinkers on, expect some major improvement.
Long Shot - Processor's Turf
Race 8 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $48,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up
Solemn Promise - Ran like a short horse last time off a 8-month hiatus; Leparoux gets one of his few truly live mounts.
Gregorian Bay - Claimed by the hottest barn at this meet, Sadler; like that Gomez thinks enough to climb on board.
Long Shot - Native Success
Race 9 - 1 1/16th miles, $750,000 Cash Call Futurity, 2-year-olds
Colonel John - Logical chalk facing a much stiffer test than in the Real Quiet; is bred to run all day, the one to beat.
Meal Penalty - Like that Ramon Dominguez was convinced to fly out for the mount; Pletcher adds blinkers on this long shot.
Long Shot - Eaton's Gift
Race 10 - 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $28,000, Claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds and up
Witness This - Sherman charge has enough tactical speed to carve out a good trip; Smith is having a sensational meeting.
Salah Who - Who would have thought that a rider switch to Pedroza from Espinoza is an improvement; should be firing late.
Long Shot - The Five J's
Race 11 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $24,000, Claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Dr. Sinatra - Did everything but win in a solid effort last time; the Mig is snakebit right now, but figures to rebound.
Ready Say Go - If you can get Bejarano and Ted West at 15/1, you need to put them on your ticket somewhere; interesting.
Long Shot - Exactly
