Dolce by The Lakes offers host of amenities
July 28, 2007 - 9:00 pm
Dolce by The Lakes features a backdrop of lakes, mountains, parks with green spaces and a variety of activities and amenities. The gated condominium community in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley offers resort-styled metropolitan or relaxing lifestyles.
Mediterranean architecture flows throughout the complex, which is easy to navigate by foot.
"When choosing a home, location is always the first priority. Dolce by The Lakes neighbors on Canyon Gate Country Club, The Lakes and Boca Park shopping in Summerlin," sales agent John DiCarlo said.
Amenities play an important part in home buyers' choices, according to DiCarlo. "We have a heated indoor pool and two outdoor pools, sauna, steam room, spa and state-of-the-art fitness room and our clubhouse," he said.
Homeowners association dues, which are set at $149 per month, include basic extended cable TV with 128 channels, roving night security and a guard at the indoor pool until 10 p.m., DiCarlo said.
Landscaping is another feature that home buyers look at closely, according to DiCarlo.
"Unlike other communities, Dolce by The Lakes includes mature trees, grass and an equal amount of desert landscaping," he said.
The Lakes residential area was developed before the current drought caused local authorities to curtail the use of man-made lakes in large-scale projects.
"It's a buyer's market and Las Vegas prices have come down. Right now, we are offering some great incentive packages for those who use our preferred lender. In addition to a special promotion that allows home buyers to apply up to 3 percent of the home's base price toward closing costs, some buyers may qualify for a reduced earnest money deposit, one year free HOA dues, and Frigidaire washer and dryer," DiCarlo said.
Dolce by The Lakes' three floor plans feature two-toned paint, stainless steel appliances and balconies. Wood-burning fireplaces are available in some residences.
The Acqua, a one-bedroom, one-bath model, includes living and dining rooms and a kitchen in its 704 square feet. Prices start at $129,900.
The Capri, which starts at $164,900, offers two bedrooms with two baths in 1,016 square feet. The open-design model features a kitchen leading to the dining room, which transitions to the living room. The living room opens onto the balcony.
The Solare is Dolce's largest home, three bedrooms and two baths in 1,154 square feet of living space. The floor plan, which starts at $187,900, offers open living and dining rooms.
