One killed, two wounded in North Las Vegas shooting

A North Las Vegas shooting Monday night left one man dead and two others with gunshot wounds, North Las Vegas police said.

The victim, who wasn't identified, was believed to be in his late teens or early 20s.

North Las Vegas police said officers went to Englestad Street and Gilday Avenue, near Martin Luther King and Lake Mead boulevards, at about 6 p.m. to investigate the shooting.

Police found one man dead at the scene. The other victims, a man and a woman, were taken to University Medical Center with wounds that were not life-threatening, police said.

No suspects had been taken into custody as of late Monday. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
