Office count for Obama in Nevada reaches 11

Having more than twice as many offices as any other candidate wasn't enough for presidential candidate Barack Obama. He has opened yet another one, bringing his total in the state to 11.

The newest office of the Illinois Democrat's campaign opened Friday in Incline Village, the upscale ski town on the north side of Lake Tahoe.

A campaign official said having so many locations puts the campaign in touch with grass-roots supporters. "The new office space gives our dedicated supporters from Incline Village and greater North Lake Tahoe a place in their community to get involved on the ground level," said Obama's Nevada campaign director, David Cohen.

The campaign has two offices in Las Vegas and locations in North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Pahrump, Reno, Carson City, Elko and Winnemucca.

No other candidate has more than four offices in Nevada. Obama is counting on a strong organizing effort to help him in the state's Jan. 19 caucuses.
