NEON TUESDAY

Mr. Las Vegas redux

Goodbye prom gown, hello tux.

Comedian Rita Rudner takes a break and yields the Harrah's showroom to Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, for a showroom stint that continues through July 7.

Visitors could be forgiven for thinking Newton performs on the Strip year-round. And his show is as predictable as a Catholic Mass, from the "Ho down" jokes to the bursts of playing various instruments to the generous solo spots for his sidekicks.

Tickets are $91.30 to $113.50 for the 8 p.m. show at 3475 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Call 369-5111.
