Candidate Dodd in state this weekend

Democratic presidential candidate Chris Dodd will be in Nevada this weekend.

Dodd, a longtime U.S. senator from Connecticut, travels to Pahrump and Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday for events that he calls part of his "kitchen table" campaign,.

Dodd is scheduled to hold an event with Las Vegas firefighters Friday at 10 a.m. and another with Nye County Democrats in Pahrump on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

At 10:30 a.m. Saturday, he is to hold an event in Las Vegas aimed at the Hispanic community, featuring Assemblyman Ruben Kihuen, D-Las Vegas.

The locations of the events were not announced Monday.
