Madina Lake sounds like the past 20 years of modern rock radio distilled into one elaborately coiffed band.

The group is a blend of spit-shined rock hooks, yearning vocals, turgid guitars and economy-sized choruses, all underlain with touches of electronic beats and screamo flourishes.
