One person killed in crash near Moapa

A single-vehicle wreck at the intersection of U.S. Highway 93 and state Route 168, west of Moapa, left one person dead Saturday, authorities said.

Troopers with the Nevada Highway Patrol were called to the wreck about 3:30 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
