Two big innings doom 51s

J.J. Furmaniak went 2-for-4 with three RBIs to help the Sacramento River Cats to a 9-7 victory over the 51s in a Pacific Coast League game Thursday night in Sacramento, Calif.

Furmaniak's two-run double keyed a five-run fourth inning for the River Cats (38-29), who took advantage of three straight walks in the inning.

Sacramento went up 9-3 in the fifth on RBI singles by Nick Blasi, J.D. Closser and Jeremy Brown.

Delwyn Young went 3-for-5 for Las Vegas (29-37), including a solo homer in the fourth inning and a two-run double in the 51s' four-run seventh.

Shane Komine (3-8) pitched six innings to get the win. B.J. LaMura (1-3) took the loss .

The River Cats host the 51s in a doubleheader tonight starting at 6:05.
