The 46th High School Journalism Awards are Now Open!
The Las Vegas Review-Journal High School Journalism Awards recognize student achievements in high school news coverage. The Review-Journal’s newsroom judges the contest, which was created to encourage high school students who show an interest in journalism to develop media skills in college and, ultimately, in a professional news organization.
The Review-Journal’s High School Journalism Awards program is in its 46th year, with 25 editorial categories in reporting, design, photography, video, social media and overall excellence.
The High School Journalism Awards are open to any high school in Clark County — public, private or charter. All entries must have been published or streamed during the 2024-25 academic year.
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Entries must be submitted by 5PM, April 8, 2025. The High School Journalism Awards will be announced in the Las Vegas Review-Journal in May.
