25-year-old man victim of shooting

A man killed in a Tuesday night shooting near Sahara Avenue and Industrial Road was identified Wednesday by the Clark County coroner's office as Patrick Beverly, 25, of Las Vegas.

The shooting occurred on the 300 block of Cleveland Avenue. Beverly died at the scene. Las Vegas police said two other people were injured in the shooting, one critically. Their conditions were unknown Wednesday.

Police are seeking a 5-foot-7-inch black man weighing 160 pounds in connection with the shooting. The man was seen wearing a white tank top, black shorts, and black and white Nike tennis shoes.

What sparked the shooting was unknown, but homicide Lt. Lew Roberts said it might have been drug-related.
