LAUGHLIN -- Tens of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts are rolling into the Southern Nevada resort town of Laughlin for an annual biker rally that was marred by violence nine years ago but has been peaceful in recent years.
Laughlin Tourism Commission spokeswoman M.J. Smith said all 10,000 hotel rooms in the casino city, across the Colorado River from Bullhead City, Ariz., are rented for the 29th Laughlin River Run, which started Wednesday and continues through Sunday.
Bikers plan to spend the weekend cruising past casinos, listening to rock 'n' roll tribute bands and shopping for motorcycle gear and clothing at vendors along the main boulevard of the town, about 100 miles south of Las Vegas.
Three people were killed and more than a dozen injured in a 2002 brawl between Hells Angels and Mongols .
