75-year-old California man’s body found in Lake Havasu

The body of a Victorville, Calif., man who was presumed drowned since Tuesday was recovered Friday morning from Lake Havasu.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office in Arizona said the body of John Albert Berguson, 75, was located at 5:30 a.m. after it surfaced in the South Basin about 300 yards off of Body Beach.

Berguson disappeared after entering the water from his boat to retrieve an item of clothing, spokeswoman Trish Carter said.

An autopsy was pending to determine
