Air Force training exercise increases aircraft traffic
Residents should expect increased military aircraft activity just north of Las Vegas until the end of next week while the Air Force conducts training exercises at Nellis Air Force Base's testing and training range.
The U.S. Air Force Weapons School's graduation exercise began Friday and runs through Dec. 8. It will include as many as 120 aircraft in both night and day missions, according to a statement from the Air Force. Some of the aircraft being used are not ordinarily assigned to the base.
