Air quality advisory issued for winds, dust

Gusty winds expected to raise dust this week prompted Clark County officials to issue an air quality advisory on Monday.

The air quality advisory is in effect from this afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.

The Clark County Department of Air Quality and Environmental Management is urging residents and those working on construction sites to take precautions.

Children, the elderly and those with respiratory diseases are encouraged to stay indoors during inclement conditions.
