Aliante Station opens doors to public

Aliante Station officially opened at 10:40 p.m., a half hour ahead of schedule.

The doors were opened shortly after fire officials gave the all clear following an 11-minute fireworks show.


PREVIOUSLY: Aliante VIP party underway

Nearly 3,000 invited guests are attending a preopening party for the new $662 million Aliante Station.

Party attendees include executives from other gaming companies including Palms owner George Maloof and MGM Mirage Chairman and CEO Terry Lanni.

The property opens to the public at 11:11 p.m.
