Amber Alert issued for 6-month-old boy

Nye County deputies issued an Amber Alert in 11 Western states for a 6-month-old boy who was taken Tuesday by his father after he fought with his estranged wife.

Deputies said Juliun Alarid was taken Tuesday morning by his father, 46-year-old Stephen Alarid.

Deputies said Stephen Alarid might be traveling to New Mexico by way of Las Vegas in a 1998 Toyota Camry with a Nevada Professional Firefighter license plate with the number 0839. Alarid is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has tattoos of a snake on a stake and a swimming dolphin on his left arm. On his right arm, he has a "USMC" Marine bulldog tattoo. He was last seen wearing a blue Indian Springs firefighter sweatshirt, blue shorts and gray shoes.

The baby was last seen wearing a white shirt that read "Sweet Pea" and green sweatpants with the number 22 on them.

Deputies said Alarid is wanted by deputies for second-degree kidnapping, domestic battery and violation of a protection order.
