KINGMAN, Ariz. -- A Kingman man who engaged in sex with his two stepchildren and filmed some of the interludes has entered a plea agreement that mandates a 30-year prison term.
John David Kruse, 33, pleaded guilty Thursday to five sex offense charges involving his male and female stepchildren between 2002 and 2006, when they were teenagers.
Police reports indicate that Kruse and his stepdaughter had sexual relations over a four-year period and that they conceived a child two weeks before her 18th birthday in 2006. The child was born in May 2007.
The reports indicate Kruse admitted he could have fathered the boy, but that the sexual relations with his stepdaughter were consensual.
The victim told authorities Kruse insisted upon sex in exchange for ordinary activities and privileges.
The victim alleged she and her younger brother were forced to engage in sexual relations with one another and with Kruse, both together and separately.
The brother is in the military.
Sentencing before Mohave County Superior Court Judge Steve Conn is scheduled Dec. 4.
