Arson seen in Henderson apartment fire
An early morning fire at a Henderson apartment complex that displaced three families was an arson, the Henderson Fire Department said Tuesday.
Fire officials said the blaze occurred about 4:20 a.m. at the Verde Viejo apartments at 1575 W. Warm Springs Road, near Arroyo Grande Boulevard.
They said the fire occurred on a second floor and was brought under control in 10 minutes. There were no injuries.
The fire caused $35,000 in damage.
Officials did not elaborate on the fire's cause other than determining it was an arson.
