Authorities in Nevada post alert for Washington boys

Authorities in Nevada posted a freeway alert for a father and a trio of boys ages 6, 8 and 10 who they say may be on their way from Washington state to Indiana.

Nevada Amber Alert officials posted information on electronic highway signs after the 33-year-old father, Chad Phillip, was accused of failing to return the children to their custodial mother on Wednesday in Spokane, Wash.

Officials say the alert activation in Nevada and eastern California was issued due to prior allegations of domestic violence.

The boys are identified as Kaleb Phillip, Dawson Phillip and Chad Phillip.

They were believed to be with their father in a dark green 1996 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Indiana license plates.
