Bicyclist killed Thursday was teacher, mom

A Las Vegas woman who was struck and killed while bicycling to school Thursday was a teacher and mother of two.

Barbara Tronnier, 43, was an avid cyclist who rode to work every day.

Her husband, Dave Tronnier, said she was hit while riding to Cadwallader Middle School in northeast Las Vegas.

Police said the driver of a van didn't see Tronnier on her bicycle, and was not immediately charged in the crash.
