BLOWOUT … AND NOTES

In the biggest blowout of the Summer League this year, the Bobcats cruised past the Knicks 103-71.

Led by Guillermo Diaz's 14 points, Five players scored in double figures for Charlotte, which shot 50.7 percent. The Knicks were held to 30.1 percent shooting.

Former Bishop Gorman point guard C.J. Watson will not play in the Warriors' game against the Raptors this afternoon because of a right thigh contusion, ending his Summer League play. He had been terrific, second on the Warriors with 18.8 points game, which might be enough for Golden State to bring him back for a second season.

Bobcats point guard D.J. Augustin missed his second game in a row because of knee tendinitis. Center Alexis Ajinca, the Bobcats' first-round pick (20th overall) this year, sprained his left knee in the third quarter and did not return. Ajinca had three rebounds and did not score in eight minutes.

Knicks guard Nate Robinson had a simple reason for playing Saturday even though he appeared through for the Summer League.

"I was tired of sitting around the hotel doing nothing," said Robinson, who scored a team-high 11 points. "I needed something to do."
