A celebrity gathering turned out Tuesday for the ribbon cutting of the first Tropical Smoothie store inside a Las Vegas casino. It is located in the Excalibur Hotel's castle walk food court. Among those Joining Dina Mitchell, Tropical Smoothie Café area developer and marketing director for Nevada, was former Mayor Oscar Goodman, Dave Farra and DK from X 107.5; Chet Buchanan from 98.5 KLUC; members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic; cast members from “Thunder from Down Under,” “Fantasy” and “Tournament of Kings”; the Australian Bee Gees; magician Murray Sawchuck from the Laugh Factory; Kevin Burke from “Defending the Caveman”; and Mike Hammer from the “Mike Hammer Comedy Magic Show.” (Courtesy photo)
