Cheyenne to U.S. 95 ramp to open Thursday

The new westbound Cheyenne Avenue loop ramp to access southbound U.S. Highway 95 will open today at 1 p.m., state Department of Transportation officials announced Wednesday.

Motorists heading westbound on Cheyenne will no longer be able to make left turns to access southbound U.S. 95. Drivers are advised to stay in the far right lane to access the new loop ramp to southbound U.S. 95.

The Cheyenne loop ramp is part of the U.S. 95 West Corridor's Phase 1 project. The approximately $80.6 million Phase 1 project is near completion.
