CityCenter worker dies in fall

A construction worker at the CityCenter project died on Saturday morning after a fall on the site, Clark County Fire Department spokesman Scott Allison confirmed Monday.

Allison believed the man was an electrician who fell about 20 feet on the $7 billion project site on the Strip. CityCenter is being built by MGM Mirage on 76 acres between Bellagio and Monte Carlo.

The man was transported to University Medical Center, where he died. Allison did not know the man's name and had few details about the incident.

An official with Nevada's Occupational Safety and Health Administration said the agency was investigating .
