It was not clear in the Newsmakers column in the July 16 Review-Journal who was the composer and illustrator for the award-winning Animalations books by author Patricia Derrick. Jean-Paul Loppo Martinez was the composer and illustrator for "Riley the Rhinoceros," "Dody the Dog has a Rainbow," "Farley the Ferret of Farkleberry Farm" and "Rickity and Snickity at the Balloon Fiesta." The books feature a rhymed story and musical CD.

In a July 13 article, two members of the Las Vegas 51s were quoted in connection with an article about performance-enhancing substances prohibited by Major League Baseball. Both members of the 51s referenced GNC. According to GNC, it does not sell or distribute any products containing substances forbidden under baseball's testing policy.
