The Clark County coroner’s office identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night.

Johnny Jay Hopfe, 28, died from multiple injuries after his motorcycle ran off the road at Centennial Center Boulevard near Ann Road about 9:30 p.m.

Police said Hopfe failed to stay in his lane before driving off the side of the road in his 2011 Yamaha R1, striking a palm tree.

He died at the scene. His manner of death was ruled an accident, according to the coroner’s office.
