Climber rescued at Red Rock Canyon

A climber was found alive a few hours after being reported missing at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area on Wednesday, Las Vegas police said.

Search and rescue personnel located the man about 8:30 p.m., Lt. Barb Schmidt said. The climber's condition was unknown.
