Combat Trauma Conference set for Thursday at UNLV
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Thursday will host a Combat Trauma Conference for nurses, social workers and family therapists on how to help veterans cope with post-traumatic stress disorder, and drug and alcohol addictions.
The conference, organized by Larry Ashley, a Vietnam War veteran and UNLV professor of counselor education, will be from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tam Alumni Center on campus.
